Nora Lapena was 12 years old when she realized she wanted to be a performer. She enrolled at the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts (also known as SCSOPA) to study acting and dancing. She also plays guitar and the piano. The Year I Did Nothing is her first feature film.

Jared Xander Silva
GEORGE WASHINGTON
Hip Hop Dance is Jared Xander Silva’s all-time favorite thing. He has been performing as early as 2015 when he was 6 at numerous Dance Showcases such as VibeJr, MaxtOut and World of Dance. In 2018, he appeared in a music video by Karencitta and has competed at Showstopper, Spotlight and Move.

Faith Toledo
ELENA
Faith Toledo was 9 years old when she showed interest in acting. So her parents enrolled her at the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts. Besides acting, Faith also enjoys painting, swimming and runway modeling.

Randy Torres
RICKY
After completing a course at the Actors Model and Talent for Christ in 2017, Rhandy quickly began booking acting roles on several TV shows such as Lifetime Movie Network’s Mistress Hunter, People Magazine Investigates: Fatal Family Secrets and King Bachelor’s Pad. Rhandy also has a Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Maria Noble

Since studying commercial acting at the North Hollywood Adult Learning Center, Maria Noble has managed to appear in numerous films and TV shows such as America’s Court with Judge Ross, This is Us, GLOW, HULU’s The Mindy Project, Blackish and Jane the Virgin to name a few.

Bianca Buena
BELINDA
Growing up in the Philippines, Bianca Buena was active in theater and pageants even as a child. At the age of 13, she moved to Wisconsin. She continued to be involved in theater while attending college in Minnesota. She moved to LA after graduation to pursue acting. Bianca has done various modeling and commercial jobs while studying drama.

Lyndon Apostol
NOEL
Lyndon Apostol is a trained actor, singer, acrobatics dancer (Monarchs Gymnastics) and break-dancer (California Dance Theatre). His stage and film credits include Mary Poppins (Neleus), The Nutcracker (Rat King) and West Side Story where he was nominated for Best Featured Actor on Broadway World for the role of Chino.

Rhianne Casey Ramos
ANGELI
Acting is Rhianne Casey Ramos’ first love. She attends Gary Spatz’s The Playground: A Young Actor’s Conservatory in Los Angeles to hone her skills. In addition to acting, Rhianne also studies ballet and takes voice lessons at the Riverside Arts Academy.

Grace Baldiserri
TITA CECILIA
2015 Outstanding Filipino Foreign Service Awardee for Arts & Poetry Grace Baldiserri writes poetry in four languages: English, Tagalog, Ibanag & Ilocano. She is the first Filipina to read her poetry at both the Library of Congress and the United Nations. Grace is also a director, community organizer and a journalist.

Noreen Lanie
NARRATOR
Noreen Lanie is a host for Pacific Rim Video and has interviewed Filipino celebrities like Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez and Marian Rivera. A talented vocalist, Noreen recently performed with World Championships of Performing Arts winner Garth Garcia, and Fil-Ams Got Talent winner Shekinah Austria. Noreen was nominated for Best Actress in Dale Fabrigar’s short film, Lullaby.

Abe Pagtama
RAY
After leaving the US Air Force, Abe Pagtama used his GI Bill to take acting classes. While in acting school, he began doing theater work in Hollywood. His first break was in a 1973 Jim Brown film called Slam. He got his AFTRA card after doing the TV classic The Garry Shandling Show. Abe continues to work as an actor and producer for more than four decades.

Pramode Kumar
DR. KUMAR
Pramode Kumar was already pursuing acting at the age of 10 in Jabalpur, India. He took a break to complete his masters degree in Chemistry. In 1998, he and his wife moved to LA to pursue acting again. His first US feature role was in the indie film A Real Job. Since then, he’s been featured in dozens of films and TV shows like Starsky and Hutch, Her, Superstore, Raising Hope and was a regular on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
